This was the second Sandhopper cassette and the one where it all came together. Recording on a four-track at home in 1994, I had chance to make this sound more like I'd wanted the first tape ('Tossed Tundra') to.

We sent it off to various places, a few record companies seemed interested and we got 'Demo of the Month' in Brum Beat magazine.

Listening back now, I think this was the best thing we did. The follow-up, 'Inside My Heart I Am Laughing', had more songs and was more cleanly recorded but suffered from us not having played the songs live.

But this one.... this one nailed it.
